Half Hour Mentor: The Series

Half Hour Mentor is an audio podcast series designed to inspire its listeners to continuously improve their personal and professional development.

It was launched in October 2022 by Ian as a way of helping students and early career professionals to learn from successful figures in all aspects of life. Each guest talks about their upbringing, what inspired them to take the career path they have followed, and what lessons they have learned along the way.

The first series mainly focused on business and finance, having been sponsored by Manchester Metropolitan University Business School. Series 2 and 3 focus on the creative arts: musicians, authors, actors and those in the managerial and strategic areas. You can pick up life lessons from the likes of Andy Burnham, Boo Hewerdine, and Lord Tony Hall, to name but three The series can be streamed and downloaded on all the major platforms, including Apple, Google, Spotify and YouTube.
